DokuWiki uses the wiki concept for the editing, creation, maintenance and revision of all types of on-line document, to be able to work more comfortably and quickly on your documentation.

The first advantage of DocuWiki is its quick installation and readines to work. You don`t need databases, only a web server, and in this way it installs in the normal way. The second advantage is that various users can work simultaneously on more than one document, or even on the same one, without confusion, incoherence, or organization problems.

Other DocuWiki options are the document sharer (to verify changes done with respect to previous versions), access control, templates to create different types of documents, segmenting and maintaining of versions, support for multimedia content, etc.
